Sleep

SC sleepInsomnia is often a side effect of other problems being experienced, or it is a standalone issue in its own right.  So how much sleep is enough?  This differs person to person and our sleep patterns also differ greatly.  For example some of us are naturally ‘larks’ – go to bed early and wake early, and some ‘owls’ – go to bed late and preferably lie in bed later.  Knowing how much we need / want, examining our sleep patterns called ‘sleep hygiene’, and learning appropriate relaxation can help us feel refreshed and energised.

I have specialised in sleep problems for many, years establishing a sleep clinic within the community, which still exists today, effectively helping individuals and families.
