Anxiety

SC Anxiety‘None of us would live long if anxiety didn’t stop us from taking foolhardy risks.  But too much anxiety can be problematic’ (Joe Griffin).  Anxiety can present as overwhelming worry, panic attacks, unrealistic fears etc…

It presents physically, emotionally and psychologically.   By understanding the condition more fully and taking control, counselling also teaches guided relaxation including mindfulness – being in the moment – rather than worrying about the past or the future (as per the NICE guidelines).

I enjoy reducing anxiety through therapy and have seen excellent results, but these also depend upon positive co-operation of the individual.
